The Venue

Where to arrive

If you are arriving in Cyprus by plane you should arrive either in Larnaca or in Paphos airports, as these are the two legal points of entry for Cyprus. The airport closest to the venue is Larnaca airport.

From Larnaca airport: It takes about 45 minutes to drive to Nicosia.

By taxi: A taxi from Larnaca airport to your hotel in Nicosia will cost approximately 50 Euros. A taxi can be picked up from the taxi rank at the airport.

By shuttle bus: There is a shuttle bus from Larnaca airport to Nicosia at regular intervals.  It costs €8,00. You can check the timetable and also book online here:

When the shuttle bus arrives in Nicosia, you can get a taxi from the shuttle bus station to the hotel.

From Paphos airport:

Paphos airport is about 1 hour 45 minutes drive from Nicosia. More information can be found here:  http://www.cyprusairports.com.cy

 

Accomodation

There are various hotels in Nicosia. The conference organization has arranged discounted rates for conference delegates at some of the nearest hotels to the venue.

Europa Plaza hotel is the hotel closest to the venue (www.europahotel.com.cy). It is about 10 minutes walking distance from the European University Cyprus. The rate is 45 Euro per night for a single room and 55 Euro per night for a double room. To book, email the hotel at reception@europahotel.com.cy and use the code: CyTEA.
